Las Vegas Convention Center
Las Vegas Convention Center
Everyone knows about the reasons for spending time in the resort town
of Las Vegas. There is the gambling, of course, the up market hotels,
the shows and the wedding chapels. However, the town also caters for
the business world and the Las
Vegas Convention Center is an important
part of the local economy. It is one of the largest
convention centers in the world and is conveniently located next to the
Hilton hotel. In fact, the two buildings are connected via a Skywalk
Bridge. The center can also be reached on the monorail.
Demand has grown for business facilities and the Las Vegas Convention
Center has been expanded over the years. The excellent
amenities are
suitable for hosting trade shows, meetings and conventions of varying
size. There are 144 meeting rooms, ranging from rooms with a seating
capacity of 20 to 2, 500. The center can supply the meeting space that
best suits the needs of the company involved. The Exhibition Halls
number 16 and have air conditioning. They are very flexible in catering
for every kind of use, as the walls are movable. From a small board
meeting to a lavish banquet, this is the venue to run things smoothly.
Parking is more than adequate with more than 5, 200 spaces. There are
entries and exits from the building, suitable for the physically
challenged. The Las Vegas Convention Center has been designed to be
user friendly and that's why companies return to use its facilities.
Every requirement has been anticipated and integrated into the design.
There are Audio Recording Rooms available and five locations in the
building have free wireless Internet access. Businesses can also make
use of local, cable and closed circuit TV. When looking to book space
at the center, there are information brochures, lists of services, rate
sheets, and maps to study.
The number of people passing through the building each day necessitates
the need for good catering and the Las
Vegas Convention Center provides
good food in comfortable surroundings. In addition to restaurants,
there are concession stands, portable snack bars and two Starbucks
Cafes. The Banners Restaurant in the Grand Lobby has seating for
approximately 700 people and the International Food Market Restaurant
in the South Hall seats 650. Of course, users of the center can enjoy
all the entertainment on offer in the resort and mix business with
pleasure. There are plenty of diversions when the serious work of the
business day is done.
